Zecco
Review
Zecco (which stands for Zero
Commission Cost) is an American online discount broker that
provides dealing facilities for both options traders and the
more conventional stock market investors.
Zecco has really grown in
popularity in recent years because of it's extremely
competitive pricing. For instance stock trades are just $4.50
each, which is very reasonable in itself, but if you place 25
trades a month or maintain a $25,000 balance, then you get 10
trades completely FREE. Options trades are equally good value
because they are a mere $4.50 per leg + 50c per contract. So on
a cost basis they are very hard to beat.
You're probably thinking there
are likely to be some hidden costs that they don't mention but
in actual fact there are no annual fees or hidden charges at
all. Zecco can afford to offer
such competitive prices because not only do they keep their
costs low, but they make most of their profits from the
interest on customers' accounts and commissions from the
options trades.
The only slight complaint people
have had about them in the past is that their customer service
hasn't always been that great, but they have been trying to
address this problem in the last year or so.
Their platform is very easy to
navigate and there is even a discussion forum where you can
share ideas and tips with other traders and investors.
So overall if you looking for a
reliable broker that will allow you to place cheap trades on
stocks and options, then I strongly suggest you consider
opening an account with Zecco.
