Options Trading Software

Options trading software is probably most used to find good high probability trading positions, however it can also be used to find options quotes that are both overpriced and underpriced.

Let's discuss the first use first of all - finding good trading opportunities. If you're an options trader you probably already make use of technical analysis all the time, but if you really want to crank up your results then I can highly recommend using Marketclub as well.

Marketclub uses it's own Trade Triangles technology to provide clear trading signals to go long or short on the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly charts. You can use these signals in a variety of ways but they are particularly effective when using multiple time frames. For example if the monthly chart throws up a buy signal on a particular stock then this signals the start of a bullish monthly trend and so a good entry point would be when subsequent buy signals are provided on the daily and weekly charts. The longer term Trade Triangles can be used to indicate the trend and the shorter term Trade Triangles can be used for entry.

This is just one way you can use Marketclub's signals, but for even greater success you can also use your own technical indicators in addition to these signals. That way you only trade those high probability positions where the Trade Triangles and your own technical analysis both correlate and suggest either a strong upwards or downwards move is imminent.

For full details of how Marketclub and it's Trade Triangles actually work, please read my comprehensive Marketclub review.

As I mentioned at the start of this article, another use of options trading software is to actually value an option. In simple terms it will tell you whether the option you are thinking of trading is cheap or expensive.

There aren't many pieces of options trading software that actually do this but one of the most prominent ones is Volcone Analyzer Pro.

Volcone Analyzer Pro actually provides this information by displaying the historic volatility of an option on a chart and with the use of a simple dot displayed on this chart will tell you instantly whether the option is underpriced or overpriced. In short it's a very powerful piece of software.
